Even before you have passed through the front gate you know you have arrived at a truly unique yacht club that is just minutes from Washington, D.C.

Sitting on a tree lined bluff overlooking the Occoquan River....

....the clubhouse occupies an idyllic setting.

Surrounded by decks and green space at the edge of the woods...

...the clubhouse has commanding views of the FYC docks and the Occoquan river.

Questions about the club can be answered by the Dockmaster or the club can be contacted by e-mail, phone or U.S. Mail.

Five floating piers are home to 170 vessels - both sail and power - with ...

...both open slips...

...and covered slips.

Covered slips can accommodate vessels up to 50' in length on the down-river side.

Located a mile down-river from the town of Occoquan FYC sits along a quiet, undeveloped section of the river.

Down-river from the club the river opens out into Belmont Bay lining the shores of the Mason Neck National Wildlife Refuge. Home to the American Bald Eagle.

The lush, green shores of FYC are home to wildlife too...

...including Great Blue Herons,...

...turtles,...

...ducks, and not pictured but also found are beaver, osprey, and Canada geese during their fall migration.

FYC's well maintained grounds are a delight to the eye also...

...with flowers,...

...green spaces for recreation...

...and nautical atmosphere.

And, oh yes, you will like the people here too! Dedicated to good times and the betterment of the club. Here the FYC Commodore completes a little spruce-up work on his slip.
