Getting There By Land

From Points South: Go north on Interstate 95 and exit at Route 123 and go east towards Woodbridge. Route 123 dead ends at Route 1. Turn left (north) on Route 1and cross the Occoquan river. Turn right at the stop light after crossing the river. Follow this road and go under the railroad tracks. The road takes a hard bend to the left one block after the railroad bridge - go straight not left at this bend and you will be on the Fairfax Yacht Club entrance road. Follow the road to the club.

From Points North: Go south on Interstate 95 and exit at Route 1 going South towards Woodbridge. Turn left at the stop light. Follow this road and go under the railroad tracks. The road takes a hard bend to the left one block after the railroad bridge - go straight not left at this bend and you will be on the Fairfax Yacht Club entrance road. Follow the road to the club.

Getting There by Sea

Fairfax Yacht Club is located on the Occoquan river which is approximately 87 miles up the Potomac river from the Potomac River's entrance on the Chesapeake Bay. A course heading of approximately 352° magnetic from flashing green #51 on the Potomac River will take you into the entrance channel of the Occoquan River. Proceed up the Occoquan River approximately 3.5 miles to Red day marker #12. Guests should tie up at the T-dock at the end of one of the piers and contact the Dockmaster. Fairfax Yacht Club is a private, member owned yacht club.
